Farmers
markets are a Texan’s best route to the freshest locally grown
produce. Fortunately, Texas is home to certified farmers markets*
located across the state. You can find local growers selling fruits,
vegetables, pecans, honey, flowers and other Texas-grown products. But
first, you have to find the market. This online guide can point you in
the right direction (to print a pdf copy of the guide, go here).
*Markets
in Texas are certified by the Texas Department of Agriculture through
an annual application process. For details on certification
requirements, go here.
