Texas Certified Farmers Markets 2007

Farmers markets are a Texan’s best route to the freshest locally grown produce. Fortunately, Texas is home to certified farmers markets* located across the state. You can find local growers selling fruits, vegetables, pecans, honey, flowers and other Texas-grown products. But first, you have to find the market. This online guide can point you in the right direction (to print a pdf copy of the guide, go here).

*Markets in Texas are certified by the Texas Department of Agriculture through an annual application process. For details on certification requirements, go here.

Download an application packet (available in pdf format). If you have any questions on locating or becoming a certified Texas farmers market, e-mail your inquiry to us at grow.texan@tda.state.tx.us or call (877) 99GO-TEX.
