Texas Fresh Produce Guide 2010

Texas farmers are throwing open the garden gate and inviting everyone to come out and get the pick of the crop in person. Just head out to the nearest pick-your-own operation and try your hand at harvesting your own vegetables, citrus, berries, peaches, apples, cut flowers and more this year and every year. And, if you don't have time to pick, stop by a roadside stand or get produce already picked and ready for sale at the farm. We are pleased to provide this guide to finding the freshest produce available. Simply select a county or a product to begin your search.

Remember to call ahead or check Web sites before driving out. As the season wanes, business hours may change and supplies may become less plentiful.
