Paloma Peach
"Howdy from the Texas Hill Country. I come from a little town called Stonewall, the capital of the Texas peach industry. Visitors come from far and wide to line up at Stonewall's roadside markets each spring for bushels of ripe peaches and bowls of homemade peach ice cream.
Peaches originally came from China and were brought to America with the first colonists. They have always been admired for their sweet goodness. Queens have served them in jeweled boxes as gifts. Peaches are definitely a gem when it comes to nutrition. The vitamin C in peaches gives skin a healthy glow and strengthens gums, teeth, bones and blood vessels." |
