Charlie Cucumber
Ever heard the saying, "cool as a cucumber"? Well, that's me, cool and hip. You know why cucumbers are so cool? It's because we are always several degrees colder on our insides than we are on our outsides. A cucumber is 96 percent water and can hold 30 times its weight in water. With all that water, it's no wonder cucumbers stay so cool. Kids need to know how important water is to them as well. Remember to drink at least eight glasses of water per day to keep your body at its best. Being low on water can make you feel bad and give you headaches.

Cucumbers are also delicious and nutritious. One whole cucumber only has about 45 calories, and it provides 10 percent of the daily value of vitamin C you need to build connective tissue and promote healthy gums and skin.
